GUIDING QUESTIONS: CHAPTER 7

1. Gatsby stops having parties because he wants to be alone with Daysi.
2. Gatsby fire all his staff because he feared they would leak information about he and Daysi. They were placed with Wolfsheim's brothers and sister, who were probably not servants, but people doing illegal acts.
3. Gatsby sees Pammy as an emotional connection between Tom and Daysi.
4. Daysi invited Gatsby to her house the next day after the party. Daysi, Gatsby, Tom, Nick, and Ms
Jordan was even more uncomfortable than expected. Tom witnesses a soft glance that passes between Daisy and Gatsby and can no longer deny the two of them are having an affair. Tom angry agreed to go to the city. Tom, Jordan, and Nick driving  Gatsby's car. And Gatsby and Daysi driving Tom’s car to go to the city. Tom has been suspicious of Gatsby all along and had him investigatedNoticing the car is low on gas, Tom pulls into Wilson's station where he finds Wilson visibly unwell. Wilson announces he and Myrtle will be headed West shortly because he has just learned fo her secret life, although the identity of Myrtle's lover is yet unknown to him. At the plaza hotel, Tom confronts Gatsby about his love for Daysi and disbelief Gatsby about his life as a rich person. Gatsby tells Tom your wife doesn't love you, she never loved you, she loves me. Tom disbelief and turns to Daysi to confirm. Gatsby tries another tactic saying the Daysi will be leaving Tom, but Tom says she will never leave him for a bootlegger.
5. On the way back to Long Inland Myrtle struck by a passing car that fails to stop continuing its route out of the city.
6. Daysi and Tom were sitting having a conversation with each other. Daysi wasn't honest, she just thinks for herself.
