Gatsby is so in love with Daysi that he can't see that she is going to destroy him. When I read chapter 7 I was astonished in the way that Gatsby wants to protect Daysi at any time. This chapter makes me feel a little bit sad because Gatsby is losing everything for Daysi and he still thinks that she loves him and they will end together.☹️
