I would like to call The desire of Gatsby to be a successful person, as an aspiration to become someone better in life. He was a person that had goals, someone that doesn't want to live in misery his entire life. Gatsby worked hard to reach his goals he made mistakes like others do. I think Gatsby represents our culture and the American dream because he came from poor and misery into wealth, power.
